The Sony VPL-EX3 projector is ideal for use in small to medium sized classrooms, training and meeting rooms.

Clarity of colour
High brightness and XGA resolution enhance the display and ensure clarity of fine details within graphs, drawings and spreadsheets. Brightness can easily be switched between high and standard mode (2000 or 1500 ANSI lumens) to suit room conditions and screen type.

Versatile and user-friendly
The front exhaust directs heat away from the audience and the aspect ratio can be changed from 4:3 for data projection to 16:9 for watching movies. The VPL-EX3 is suitable for mobile use and is also ceiling mountable. It has a wide range of inputs and outputs including monitor and audio outputs. The VPL-EX3 accept HD (High Definition) inputs (720p and 1080i).

Monitor Out
The projector can display the image simultaneously on a large screen and on an additional monitor (via a 15 pin D-sub connection), so that the user can face the audience and still see the information being shown.

Six Picture Modes
Game, Living, Cinema, Dynamic, Standard and Presentation modes enable quick, easy picture adjustment for use in different environments.

Low Fan Noise
For an undisturbed presentation or film, a whisper quiet operation is very important.

Two RGB Inputs
Two 15-pin D-sub inputs allow for flexible connection. Both accept RGB or Component signals.

RS-232C
Connections include a RS-232C port for management and control of the projector.

Password Protection
When the Password Protection feature is activated, a password is required to use the projector. A warning sticker is provided, which can be stuck onto the projector to warn potential thieves.

Control Panel Lock
This function locks the controls on the top and side of the projector, to prevent unauthorised or unintentional use of the controls. If this feature is switched on the remote control can still be used. Control Panel Lock can be switched ‘on’ or ‘off’.

Ceiling Mountable
The VPL-ES3 and VPL-EX3 are both ceiling mountable.

Ecological Benefits
