Magnesium
die casting technology reduces weight and noise
PlasmaSync 61XM3 employs magnesium die casting technology.
Thanks to a magnesium-alloy chassis, it is impressively
lightweight (61kg, 134.5 lbs.) and strong for a large-sized
monitor, which makes it remarkably flexible when it
comes to installation. The 61XM3 also features an
efficient new cooling system developed from extensive
air intake and airflow testing. This new cooling system
doesn't produce those annoying interruptions of cooling
fans activating during presentations in meeting rooms
and mini-theatres. In fact, the 61XM3 boasts the industry's
lowest noise level for monitors with fans at 22dBA.
