4:3 Electric Screens

The format used by standard TV's and Computers.

16:9 Electric Screens

The format used for home cinema often referred to as widescreen.

1:1 Electric Screens

The format used for applications that require a perfect square image, examples are slide projection and OHP use. This screen is often referred to as an AV screen as it can also be used as a 4:3 screen and 16:9 screen but the image will not fill the whole screen.
